Last year's spectacular inaugural sale took over £18,000,000 in total, making it the largest ever UK vintage car auction. Organisers expect to repeat this success, with around 100 rare cars including a 1964 Ferrari 250 LM Berlinetta. The 27th of just 32 total examples produced, this 250 LM enjoyed a successful racing history with Scuderia Sant'Ambroeus. (Est. €2,700,000-€3,450,000.) Also on offer is the luxury German marque 1938 Horch 853 Special Roadster with coachwork by Erdmann & Rossi, one of just three surviving examples of its kind. (Est. €1,800,000 - €2,500,000.)

Highlights include a magnificently illuminated 1514 edition of French Humanist scholar Robert Gaguin's (d. 1501) great French history, Les Grandes Chroniques (est. €123,000-185,000). Gaguin was a leading member of early humanist circles in Paris, establishing with Fichet France's first printing press in Paris, and a supporter of Erasmus when he first came to Paris. The work was published while Erasmus was in Paris,who wrote a prefatory address recommending the text.
